Bookings & Reservations

We recommend that you make a reservation at least a week in advance in order for us to guarantee care for your dog. If you are a new client please take into account that an initial interview and key exchange must occur prior to the start of any services.

Payment

Payment is due as services are rendered. Regular clients are billed biweekly for accrued services and payment is due Friday of the second week. All cheques should be made payable to “Walktime.” If you elect to pay by cash or cheque, you may  leave payment to be collected by a Walktime Dog Walker, or you can elect to pay online.  Please be advised, Walktime reserves the right to terminate services if overdue balances exceed $150.00 or remain outstanding over 30 days.

Public holidays will incur an additional charge of 10% for all services.

 Entrance Access To Your Home

Walktime comes to you!

Whether you live in a house or an apartment, Walktime will come to you and collect your dog, Walktime dog walking times do not include the time entering and leaving your building. Prior to any Walktime services commencing, Walktime will arrange an interview with you and your dog, in your own home to assess your dog's needs. During this interview, Walktime will discuss with you how to access your home. Please be aware that in most cases this will require Walktime having keys and/or access codes etc to your place of residence.

Dogs must be wearing a collar with their coucil registration tag securely attached and a lead available. Walktime takes no responsibility for dog leads and collars which may be lost or damaged whilst in the care of Walktime.

Acknowledgement and Waiver

By utilizing our services you consent that you have read this information in its entirety, agree and understand all of its contents completely, and acknowledge that Walktime has limited liability regarding certain occurrences and incidents that may occur regarding your dog. While we take every precaution possible to ensure that all of the dogs in our care are healthy and safe, the client must recognize that incidents will happen whenever dogs socialize together and that we take no responsibility regarding these incidents. Walktime is not liable for injuries or illnesses that any animal may incur while in our care.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to service. You will be fully charged for services if you fail to cancel within the allotted time. Further, if we arrive at your home for dog walking and your dog is not available or if we are unable to gain access to your home during a scheduled walk, you will be fully charged for dog walking services.
